Another trip with my family. This time, we went to Pulau Umang. There was an 'accident' on our way to the small dock, but thank God, we got there safely (although our car was kind of damaged).

So sorry for the lack of update. I was so busy with college. But so far, I really enjoy my time here in Prasetiya Mulya with new friends, new surroundings, and new things to learn.

Batu Secret Zoo

After my visit to Brawijaya University, we drove to Batu again and went to Batu Secret Zoo. It was the best zoo I've ever been to. Well not that I've ever been in many zoos, but it was awesome.

They made the exhibits so unique. In one exhibit, I thought it was a classroom and children's playground, but it was actually an exhibit of lemurs! The animals were mostly from Africa, some of them are maybe the kind of animals that you'll never find in any ordinary zoos in Indonesia, especially the monkeys. I took many pictures of odd-looking type of monkeys but only some of them worth to be blogged.

Isn't he adorable? He seems so furry I wanna hug him :)

Decision

So yeah, I'm not accepted at University of Indonesia, but at Brawijaya University, my second choice in SNMPTN. I never really thought of moving to Malang, although most of my family live there. So few days ago, my mom and I flew to Malang to 'take a look' at the campus to make me sure I won't regret my decision later.

I decided not to take it. I will be stuck in BSD for the next four years ;)

We visited BNS, Batu Night Spectacular (I know the name makes you like 'Eh?' right? Haha). It's cool.

These creepy hands & foots were actually ashtrays. Scary :S

Our first destination in Yogyakarta was UGM.

Do you know about the Merapi's eruption? Our trip was actually postponed because of the eruption and we couldn't go until everything was save. We thought the trip will be canceled but thank God it wasn't.

We could see with our own eyes the dust/volcanic material that caused by the eruption and we were suggested to use a mask.

I didn't see any smoke nor the volcano though, I wonder why.

After UGM, we went to Keraton Yogyakarta. It was the second time I've been there, my first time was a tour in my 9th grade.

Then, we headed to UNS in Solo. I didn't take any pictures there though because the campus didn't look appealing to me (I'm sorry).

We headed back to Yogyakarta, but first we visited Prambanan Temple. At first, before the Merapi's eruption, the school planned to take us to Borobudur Temple, but because of the eruption the temple were covered with volcanic materials and it was closed for public.

When we entered the main temple complex, it started to raining so I can't use my camera anymore.

After Prambanan we were taken to Malioboro street and we can do some shopping there. Too bad I didn't take any pictures because I was so busy shopping hee :p

That is all I guess. We slept for one night in our hotel and on the next day we were ready to go back to our school. It was a great 3 days indeed. :)

Goes To Campus, part one

Maybe it's too late but I want to share you my Goes To Campus photos.

Goes To Campus (or GTC for short) is one of the most awaited events in my high school. All of the 12th grader will go to some of the most prestigious universities in Java. As for my year, we went to Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Padjajaran, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Universitas Sebelas Maret.

It was a great moment :)

And sorry, because it happened around November, I can't remember the details of our journey.

First Day

We started our journey from our school (obviously), SMAN 2 Tangerang Selatan. The teachers gave us some explanation blahblahblah and introduced us to our tour guides. My bus guided by Mas Danang. He was pretty cute and some of the girls in my bus went gaga over him.

Our first destination was UI

↑ I hope this will be my usual 'sight' for the next four years... Amiiin :)

After UI, we went to Unpad in Jatinangor, Bandung. Now the buses split to different faculties, since we didn't have enough time to go to all of the faculties there. As for my bus, we went to the Faculty of Psychology.

↑ Mrs. Galuh, Mrs. Rusminah, Mr. ... eh... I forgot, but he was one of the lecturer in the faculty, and Mrs. Roro.

After that we went to our hotel in Lembang. The place is alright and I got a pretty big room. We arrived at 11pm, I guess. All I want that day was a nice bath and good sleep, but then I found out that I have to share my room with other 14 girls, with only one bathroom. It sucked, but we managed it fine.

Second Day

↑ By the way, meet my best friends: Dea, Anbil, Icha, and Thari. We were classmates in the 11th grade and I got really close with them.

↑ Yes... we're all.... tiny.

After breakfast, we went to ITB. I think ITB has the most beautiful campus compared to the other four.

April 27th 2011 maybe is one of the best night in my life.

I knew Maroon 5 back then in 2004. My dad introduced me to their first album, Songs About Jane, when I was on the sixth grade of elementary school. I used to sing their songs without knowing the meaning of the lyrics.... If you know what I mean.

Since that time, I always dream to attend Maroon 5's concert. Now in 2011, I finally saw them LIVE!!

I watched it alone. I mean, I don't have any close friends who planned to watch the concert. Mom and dad watched them too, but they were in tribune and (of course) I chose festival class. I don't care. As long I can watch Maroon 5, I don't mind being alone, really.

When I arrived at Istora Senayan at 3.30 pm, there were already people queued at the first gate. It was raining and I didn't bring an umbrella. Fortunately, a group of people behind me used a pretty big umbrella so I didn't get really wet.

The first gate was opened at 5 pm and we had to queue again at the second gate which didn't take too long. After 30 minutes, I could already ran into the hall, and YEAH I got the second row from the stage.

So we wait for another two and half hours until finally Maroon 5 came out. At that time, I was already at the first row ☺☺

He are the pictures that I took last night. Too bad I don't have any good full band photos... But well, I got some pretty good photos of Adam Levine though :p

Two days ago, February 18th 2011, was my 18th birthday. It was lovely to receive birthday greetings from my family, friends, and even strangers!

IPA/IPS?

Sebagai murid kelas 12, gue harus mulai berpikir tentang masa depan (yes this sounds old but it's true, right?). Gue harus mikirin ke universitas mana gue mau melanjutkan pendidikan dan jurusan yang gue ambil. Setelah gue berpikir panjang, gue pun ngambil keputusan. Gue memilih buat menyebrang. Ya, dari jurusan IPA di SMA, ke jurusan IPS di universitas. Gue memutuskan buat berjuang untuk menjadi mahasiswi Universitas Indonesia jurusan manajemen.

Mungkin beberapa orang yang baca post ini adalah anak IPS, atau yang bukan IPS tapi punya pemikiran seperti mayoritas anak IPS lainnya:

Udah susah-susah belajar IPA 2 tahun, tau-tau ngambil lahan anak IPS. Ngapain lo belajar IPA dong selama ini?

Ok, yang di atas itu bukan karangan gue doang, some people actually say that (or well, maybe tweet it, whatever). Bahkan salah satu temen deket gue pun ngomong begitu ke gue, meskipun pastinya dengan bahasa yang berbeda. Intinya menunjukkan bahwa gue akan mengambil lahan mereka di universitas.

Gue punya beberapa alasan pribadi kenapa gue masuk IPA, meskipun gue akui minat dan kemampuan gue adalah IPS. Alasan ini mungkin ga semua orang bisa ngerti dan mungkin gue terdengar mengada-mengada. Salah satunya adalah dulu gue dulu belum tau mau menjadi apa. Gue belum tau apakah gue ternyata minat ke IPA atau ke IPS (walaupun memang condong ke IPS). Kalo gue memilih IPS dan ternyata gue, misalnya aja, pengen jadi ahli gizi, itu udah ga mungkin karena menurut gue impossible buat belajar pelajaran IPA tanpa guru.

Selain itu, gue melihat realitas sekolah gue sendiri yang agak menomorduakan anak IPS. Bukan berarti gue menyetujui hal ini, nggak sama sekali, tapi begitulah realitanya. Di sekolah gue (mungkin di sekolah lain pun begitu juga, I don't know), dari awal secara implisit guru-guru menyatakan bahwa anak IPS adalah anak-anak yang ga 'sepintar' di IPA dan guru cenderung 'malas' buat ngajar IPS, yang menurut gue adalah salah besar karena ga sepantasnya guru mencap murid demikian. Tapi itu lah yang menjadi pertimbangan gue masuk IPA. Gue membayar sama banyaknya dengan murid-murid lain dan gue ga mau dinomorduakan

Gue tipe orang yang mesti 'di cambuk' buat belajar terus menerus dan harus melihat orang lain yang lebih rajin daripada gue supaya gue termotivasi menjadi rajin. Menurut gue, itu yang ga gue bisa dapetin di IPS.

Sorry if this post offend any of you, I just want to share my thoughts. Gue ga ada maksud buat merendahkan siapa pun dalam post ini, tapi cuma menyampaikan pendapat gue. Dan buat anak IPS yang baca ini dan menganggap gue mencuri lahan kalian, pikir aja bahwa gue tertinggal dua tahun pelajaran IPS dari kalian dan kalian udah belajar jauh lebih banyak dan jauh lebih lama dari gue. So why you have to worry? Kalo gue jadi lo, itu lah yang akan gue pikirkan, bahwa anak IPA ga akan bisa mencuri lahan gue di universitas. Be positive and trust yourself that you can do it :)

The thing is, I'm so busy with school life. I wish this is not true but yeah, it really happens. Sometimes I can't believe that I have spent almost 3 years in high school.

As a 12th grader, I have these 'stuffs' to do. Try outs, national exam, school's final exams, and university admission tests, which are SUPER EXHAUSTING.

Thank God I've been accepted at Prasetiya Mulya Business School, but I'm still aiming for Universitas Indonesia. So... pray for me? :P

Went to Jakarta Jam day two... Or should I say Hellogoodbye's concert? Since the only reason I was there was Hellogoodbye ;)

At first I thought I would be late. Thari, my friend, picked me up with taxi at 6 pm. The concert will be started at 7 pm (as printed on the ticket) and Thari was dying to see FTSK first. But thank God, it was only need one hour from my home to Tennis Indoor Senayan, and the concert wasn't started yet.

I don't know any FTSK nor The Maine's song so I just took photos of them (and none of them were good). After standing and waiting for hours, at about 10pm, Hellogoodbye came on stage!

It was like magic :)

Bromo

As I already said on my previous post, I went to Bromo this holiday :). I stayed in this fine hotel called Java Banana which was really great.

Mom and Dad rented a jeep because we'll go to Pananjakan to watch sunrise and the early view of Bromo Mountain. So we woke up at 3 am and hopped into the jeep. It was so dark, the only thing I could see was the jeep, and another jeep, and another, and also the road of course.

After riding the jeep for maybe 30 minutes, we arrived at Tengger mountain. But because we were kinda late, the jeep could only park about 1.5km from the top. We had to walk or ride an ojek, so we decide to chose the second option.

At the top, there were already LOTS of people. I mean it. It was really crowded with domestic and foreign tourists. And I'm so short, I couldn't see anything. Fortunately, the foreigner in front of me gave me his place, so I stood in front of him (well it didn't matter at all, since he was like so tall).

The view was fantastic and breath taking. I would love to go there again (and it would be nice if it's less crowded).

Mom and dad! I really enjoy having this holiday just for the three of us. Not that I don't like spending time with my brother and sister, tapi mereka itu ngerepotin banget. Biasa lah, anak kecil. Kan ga enak kalo ga jalan-jalan puas cuma gara-gara capek dan alasan semacam itu. :D

Oke oke, gue sudah menghilang dari peredaran. Beberapa temen gue udah berkali-kali ngomong: "Thi, update blog kek!" bla bla bla. Tapi sumpah, gue malesnya ga ketolongan. Tapi sekarang gue bertekad nyampah lagi di blog ini. Udah terlanjur banyak sampah disini, jadi ga asik kan kalo gue berhenti nyampah? :D

Anywayyyy, quick updates!

Gue, nyokap, dan bokap, pergi liburan ke Singapore beberapa waktu yang lalu (ya, meninggalkan 2 adek gue dirumah). Thank God. I need holiday.
I turned 17! Yes yes, my birthday was on 18th February. I got a laptop from my parent (something that I've been waiting for since FOREVER) and got a surprise from Abie and my friends. Overall, it's my best birthday so far :)
Stressed! School is effin hectic. Ulangan, PR, tugas, dan segala macemnya. Belom lagi sekolah gue mau ngadain event yang (Insya Allah) bisa dibilang cukup gede dan gue disini sebagai salah satu orang yang harus bertanggung jawab. Argh. I don't know how I could handle this. Wish me luck!

DIENG TRIP PT 2: Sunrise

Woke up at 3:30 am and walked up about 300 m to the top of Sekunir hill, 2400-2500 above sea level. Damn cold, I wore 3 tees and 2 jackets, and didn't felt warm enough.

DIENG TRIP PT 1: Walk at the plateau

We headed from Yogyakarta to Dieng, Central Java after spent one night at Yogyakarta. Dieng was a plateau, and if you see the picture below, Dieng is situated at the flag and we drove between two mountains, Sundoro and Sumbing :)

A new sushi restaurant just opened in BSD: Sushi Naga. So me and Tamboy went there for dinner (we also met Anti, Vita, and their school friends too). A nice cozy place, delicious sushi, and reasonable price: I'm definitely loving that place! :)

Me and my school friends attended a workshop that held by Rexona. The workshop is about.......something. Haha. Any way, it was soooo much fun. The trip from BSD-Pamulang-Bulungan-DH was really great and we had so much fun, we were like..........22 kampung people who made a lot of noise! You guys rawk! :)

Few days ago, I did a photo shoot with Dira and Kara as the models. There was Adli, Kara's boyfriend who became our driver (haha) and Yosef, a friend of Dira.

We went to Virginia Lagoon first, it is one of an exclusive cluster in BSD. But the security told us to leave if we don't have permission from the developer (obviously we didn't have one). So we left.

We went around BSD and decided to try our luck, so we went to BSD Junction roof top. And........ another securities came to us haha -___- But lucky, the securities told us to ask the permission from the developer on the second floor. We asked and............ he let us to do 1 hour photo shoot woo hoo!

After an hour, we went to Taman Kota to do another photoshoot, then we went home...... Not in the mood of telling story, so here's the pictures!

Day Three

Third day in Thailand, we rented a car and a driver again. We asked him to bring us to Ayutthaya. But first we visited Bang Pa-In Palace, located between Bangkok and Ayutthaya. The Palace was okay, maybe because it looked like European building, which not really caught my eyes. But it was so big! So dad rented a golf car and we can drive it around the palace.

After that, we went to Ayutthaya and visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. It was so sunny and hot, but still it didn't stop us to walk around :D

There's still so much temple, but we couldn't stand the heat anymore, so we left Ayutthaya and headed back to Bangkok. But first, we looked around for lunch and we decided to eat at some Muslim Restaurant, but the taste was horrible. At least for me.

Maybe you guys are wondering why I got the almost same name as a city in Thailand, well it's because my dad named me after the city. But no, we don't have any Thailand blood (actually, I'm a bit Indian :P).
For you who don't know, Ayutthaya (read: Ayudhia) was the capital city of Thailand, before it moved to Bangkok. It's located 80 km from Bangkok. There's 200 temples there. :)

After a long drive to Bangkok, we visited Erawan Museum.

Too bad I didn't take any pictures in the museum, because I thought we weren't allowed to take pictures. But my mom, who got into the museum after me and my dad (we got in separated because we had to take care of Alvin who slept on his baby stroller) took some pictures inside it with her BB. Aaaaaaaaaaargh :(

Then we left Erawan Museum and we visited Central World.

I bought a watch there, since my Swatch already looked so bad hahaha but I still love it so much (my Swatch, I mean), and I also bought a gray jeans, and I got it with a pretty cheap price.

After a few hours in Central World, we got back to the hotel. Bought us some dinner from the restaurant near the hotel and got back to our room. :3

Day Two

So, we started our second day at Bangkok. We had a breakfast in the hotel. It was on the roof top, the view and food was great (even though me and my family had to beware because we are Muslims and we don't eat pork) but it was so windy and too bad I didn't take any pictures there.

After that, we rented a car and a driver. He took us to ride on a boat around the river (don't know the name of the river)

After one and half hour, we asked the driver to drop us at a restaurant because we were hungry. The restaurant was filled with miniature of train. FYI, my brother Alvin, LOVES train. So he can't stop walking around the restaurant.

After that, we went to Grand Palace. One word: INCREDIBLE!

After that, we got out from Grand Palace and walked to our rented car and drove back to the hotel.

We had a rest for couple of hours and ride the Sky Train to Siam Paragon. I obviously didn't buy anything, too expensive for my pocket :P

Day One

Okay, because I'll post lot of big-sized pictures, you better get ready, and sorry if your computer lagging :9

First day:

So it was 8th July, and I was starting my trip to Bangkok, Thailand. My flight is on 4 .20 pm, so my mom and dad can still attend the election. I stayed at home preparing my stuff. On 1 pm the taxi that gonna bring us to the Airport came.

There was no traffic jam, so we got there in 45 minutes. We checked in, filled our immigration card the wait a few hours at Starbucks. I got the free coffee even though I haven't vote. for the election And the waiter was so cute. Double luck! Lol. :P

On 3 pm, we moved into the boarding room. Which already filled with people. And on 4.25 pm (I forgot the exact time) we got into the plane. I sat with my mom and my brother on the right side and my father and sister on the other side. My mom gave me the seat beside the window, just like I wanted.

Three hours later, we arrived at Bangkok safely! The Svarnabhumi Airport was gorgeous. By the way, Thailand people got the same face like Indonesian, so I accidentally talked Bahasa with them and they were raising their eyebrows haha :P

Then we looked for taxi to bring us to the hotel. The taxi driver hardly speak English and when they speak............ I couldn't understand a single thing hahaha.

After an hour (or more) we arrived at I-Residence Hotel. The hotel got a minimalist look. Me likey.

Then after took a bath, we decided to look around for Suan Lum Night Bazaar. It's 11 pm, and my sister was tired so she was mumbling around to my mom and dad and it drove us crazy so after an hour wasting our energy, we got back to the hotel by the Tuk-Tuk. I was sleepy too, and because of my sister, I lost my mood of taking photo :P

Yesterday I went to D'Cost (again) to attend my class farewell party. Kinda boring, but it was fine. My closest friends in the class: Dira, Halim, Tera, and Mamo (minus Dhiny, Nabiel, and Ongky) were sitting together in front of the restaurant after the lunch, we talked, we laughed and did other silly things like we used to do in the class, and of course took some photos! I'M GONNA MISS YOU GUYSSSSSSSSSSS! :)

Sabtu kemaren, gue sama temen-temen SD gue reunian. Awalnya agak takut bakal sepi yang dateng (lebih takut lagi kalo mesti nombok, soalnya gue lagi ngirit haha). But thank God! Meskipun dari 150an orang yang dateng nggak nyampe setengahnya, tapi tetep rame (sampe dimarahin bapak-bapak dan keluarganya karena kita berisik banget, but we didn't care dan malah tambah berisik. Salah sendiri makan disana pas ada kita haha ;p) dan cuma nombok 4 ribu!

Today, me and some of my elementary school friends (Devin, Aip, Deta, Sarah, and Bianda), had a lunch at McDonald BSD to discuss our reunion on 4th July.

After that, we were so bored and too lazy to go home, Devin asked me and Aip to come with him to the Driving Range. We agreed :D. Because I'm poor at golf (I only play golf at the Putt-Putt Golf) HAHA) so I just watched Devin playing and Aip making fool of him self, and of course, took some photos! :D

Today my Dad went to Kalimantan for a week, so me, my mom, my siblings and my maid dropped him at the Airport. Too bad I couldn't take some pictures there, because my sister already begged my mom to go to Pacific Place. There was Yuppy Land. Gue pikir apa ya gitu Yuppy Land, ternyata bentuk-bentuk dinosaurus, sapi, buah-buahan dll yang ditempelin Yuppy, udah gitu fulled with little children and their big ego. Well yeah, they're children, that's why I don't really like them.

But not bad, my mom bought us some pack of gummy yummmmmm.

Went to Citos to meet Dira, Dinda, and Gabby. I waited for them for like 2 hours at Starbucks. After they showed up, we went to buy movie tickets. Because there was no chances to get Transformers tickets (already knew that), we bought 17 Again tickets.

On 9pm my mom called me and she said she gonna pick me up, so we decided to wait for her at Starbucks.

I've been spending my lousy days watching Ugly Betty. Yeah, all day long. The first thing I did in the morning was walked to my parent's room, turned on the DVD player and watched Ugly Betty until 4 pm, I took a bath, and watched again until 9 pm then go to sleep.

Well maybe not that dramatic, but the point is Ugly Betty is my friend for these past few days.

Actually, I did something pretty fun this week. Because I still had free bowling vouchers, I spent them with my friends. On Tuesday, I went to the bowling center with Kara and Adli, and on Thursday with Adli, Kara, Kara's brother: Kevin, Kara's sister: Kak Arin, and Kak Arin's boyfriend.

Hello!

Today my mom and dad took my report card and what a shock, I'm on the sixth rank! This is so funny, soalnya gue nggak pernah nyangka bakal masuk ke dalam 10 besar di kelas. Alhamdulillah :)

I got into science class, which I don't really care. Mau masuk IPA atau IPS gue nggak masalah :P. The only thing that stuck in my mind is.......... the teachers! The teachers of science class in my school are kind of creepy, especially the 12th grade teachers hmmmmmmm *crossing fingers*.

Akhirnya jadi juga!
On Tuesday, me, Tami, and Anti went to PIM because we were craving for SUSHI!
Tadinya gue bener-bener mau ngabisin uang buat makan sushi, tapi ternyata gue cuma mengeluarkan duit Rp 32.000 saja (a plate of salmon maki and......... I forgot what, also the taxes of course), thanks Anti for buying me and Tami a plate of sushi LOL ;)

Duit gue malah habis buat beli makanan-makanan kecil yang sebenernya nggak begitu penting tapi menggiurkan di Food Hall.

Anti and I were done with our sushi, tapi Tami makannya kayak siput jadi gue fotoin aja dia haha.

I went to Citos with my mom, dad, and Dhea (my sister). We had a lunch at Mangkok Putih and watched Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. At first I thought it will be boring (funny, but boring), so I was not excited. But I was wrong, it is really funny and entertaining!By the way, maybe you remember Echo's custome made shoes? I ordered 2, and it finished yesterday (after 2 weeks! Haha). The moccasins is one of them. It's a bit different from what I expected, but that's fine I can fix it, it still so cute and I like it soooo much. Too bad the black oxfords is too small so it hurted my feet (my feet is so sensitive), but maybe with few bandages I can wear it :P

By the way I'm making another vector image right now. Still in progress though.

Dira's Birthday

Yesterday I went to Dira's house to celebrate her birthday, and since the house is kinda far from mine (her house at Pamulang and mine at BSD), my mom, dad, both my sibling, and my maid dropped me at her house haha. I never came there before, I have never been to Pamulang except SMAN 1 Pamulang when I joined a rally photo contest there, and now I already forgot where it was. Intinya gue buta sama yang namanya Pamulang haha.

Thank God it's not too hard to find her house. When I got there at 7 pm, there's only Dira, her boyfriend Irza, Gaby, Irza's friend (which I forgot the name haha), Dira's friend (I forgot her real name but Dira called her Jumbo haha). After that, Dinda and her boyfriend, Ridho, came. Dira was panic, because some of the guests haven't come yet. But Dira's parent told us to eat.

When we were having the dinner, there were from the outside, and there they are, Halim, Suryo, Tommy, Evan, Wildan and Aby. They brought a mini cake for her.

Not long after that, Dinda and her boyfriend decided to leave because Dinda's mom got into hospital so there's only her and her sister in her house. Followed by Irza and his friend. Agama: Lumayan lah, Google helped me tentang asas-asas :)
PKN: Google juga beberapa nomor.
TIK: Sampah banget ada merge mail gue nggak ngerti, Google deh ternyata ada lumayan juga haha.

Jum'at, day 2:
B. Indonesia: Teks preposisi sama unsur intrinsik cerita gue ada yang lupa, jadinya gue Google dooooong.
Ekonomi: One word: ASU! Terutama PGnya hahaha apa-apaan nyebelin abis deh (soalnya nggak bisa), kalo nggak salah ada nomer yang gue Google juga.

Sabtu, day 3:
B. Jepang: Nggak usah ditanya ya PG gue bolong-bolong. Terus ada pertanyaan tentang Kaisar Jepang, Google deeeeeeh. Essay gue bisa isi semua tapi nggak bisa lengkap (terutama kanji hari-hari), jadi gue nanya.
Sosiologi: PALING LANCAR. Banget malah. Cuma gue lupa tentang preparatory stage jadi gue Google.

Intinya? Tiada hari tanpa Google! Hahahaha Masya Allah parah ya tapi bagaimanaaaaaaaaa punya teknologi untuk apa tidak digunakan? HAHAHAHA.

Besok Matematika sama Desain Grafis. Desain Grafis sih gue udah dapet kisi-kisinya dan udah gue jawab semua jadi Insya Allah nilai gue bagus. Matematika? Jangan tanya. Pertidaksamaan aja gue nggak ngerti. Dimensi 3? Beneran kalo ada soal itu gue nggak kebayang cara ngejawabnya. Akhirnya gue cuma belajar Trigonometri aja (itu aja nggak masuk). Jadi gue udah janjian sama Nabiel dia ngasih gue MTK dan gue ngasih dia DG. HAHA.

Watched Angels and Demons with my Mom and Dad today (or yesterday? Since it is 12:10 am now hehe) at Citos.

The movie was kinda disappointing. Maybe it's because I was hoping too much, hehe. I was hoping I could see Kohler, the CERN's jet, Robert and the Assasin fight in the fountain, the EARTHWINDFIREWATER ambigram, Robert Langdon jumps from helicopter to the sea, and so on. But overall it's great, especially when the antimatter explode. But still (as usual): the book is a lot better! A must read novel for sure :)

Any way my life is boring. Kemaren gue ikut nyokap-bokap ke reunian asrama mereka terus rencananya mau nonton Angels and Demons, ternyata eh ternyata sampe Senayan City tiketnya yang jam 8 dan 9 abis. Oke banget ya. Jadi rencananya mau nonton hari Kamis besok. Doain aja jadi karena gue udah nggak sabar banget mau nonton. Can't wait for Thursday! :(

Film (?) Effect Tutorial

Open the photo (obviously :p).

Open a film texture (you can found it around the web, I forgot where I got mine).

Copy the texture (CTRL+C)

Open the first photo and paste the texture (CTRL+V), so the film texture will be above the photo.

Change the blending mode of the texture layer to "Screen".

There, the texture blends with the photo.

Choose the background layer (the photo) and click "Create new fill or adjustment layer" and choose "Gradient Map".

Choose the red & green gradient, click OK.

So, it'll look like this.

Change the gradient map layer blending mode to "Screen".

Tada!

Adjust the fill or opacity however you want :)

Click "Create new fill or adjustment layer" and choose
"Curves"

Adjustment for RGB--> Input: 90, Output: 58
Red--> Input: 128, Output: 88
Green--> Input: 116, Output: 109
Blue--> Input: 156, Output: 176
Click OK.
Oh I forgot something, choose the texture layer and adjust the opacity/fill.

Well, you haven't satisfied yet? Go adjust the photo by your self! Play with Curves, Color Blending, Levels, Brightness and Contrast, etc. I cannot remember how I edited my photo, soalnya sebenernya gue ngasal-ngasal aja, adjust sana-sini sampe ketemu hasil yang gue mau. Adjustmentnya juga tergantung dari pencahayaan foto yang di pake soalnya.

Today I skipped school.

Well, not exactly skipped. I woke up really late (on 6:45 am when I supposed to wake on............... 5:45 am?). No one woke me up! They thought school start on Monday. My school will send us home if we're late so I don't see any reason why I should come. Thank God, my mom let me stay at home because on the previous day I was kind of sick. Well I still don't feel really good right now but it's better than yesterday.

And I've been online for like......... 10 hours? Almost non-stop? HAHA. I'm addicted to Neopets again, cannot stop collecting avatars (I'm sure you don't know what I was saying -____-)

Any way, we got an assignment for graphic design class. The task is to make a magazine cover or a catalog cover. We (me, Dhiny, Nabiel, Tera, and Dira) decided to make a magazine cover, which is easier. Here's the result (:

I don't know what's FREEZE mean, I mean, why I use the word as the magazine name. It just sounds catchy :/

Hari ini ke FX sama Anti dan Tami naik Trans BSD. Pas nyampe FX bingung mau makan dimana, dan akhirnya kita memutuskan untuk.............................. JALAN KE SENAYAN CITY HAHA. Lumayan jauh juga ya dan panasssssss. Tapi asik juga sih, because we enjoyed it, sekalian olah raga ;)

Sampai di Sency pada lupa gitu Sushi Teinya dimana. Setelah muter-muter beberapa saat, ketemu deh Sushi Tei terus waiting list gitu kan, akhirnya duduk di depan Sushi Tei. Ternyata oh ternyata, sepatu gue yang beli di Senen gompel aja lho hahahaha beneran, bagian sol sepatunya pada bercopotan. Padahal baru dipake dua kali. Akhirnya abis makan kita memutuskan buat nyari alas kaki buat gue hahaha.

Terus udah deh, kita kan nggak mau pulang malem-malem, jadi abis dari Bread Talk langsung keluar nyari Trans BSD lagi. Tadinya mau ke Sour Sally tapi antriannya............................... Pfffft.

First day of holiday............................ TOTALLY EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah hell no.

I spent my day watching DVDs: Gossip Girl Episode 18-19, Bride Wars, Music & Lyric, and Mean Girls. My favorite? Of course Music & Lyric, I always like Hugh Grant. Hehe.

The internet connection is not good. And I have nobody to talk to. And I'm kinda depressed about something. And my left foot is hurt again. And I got no money. And I want to go somewhere but no one asked me out. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm pathetic.

By the way I bleached my dark blue jeans. Turned out fine. I guess.

My left foot is getting better. Sekarang udah nggak terlalu sakit kalo dipake jalan, meskipun gue masih suka teriak-teriak karena suka asal jalannya hahaha. Masih bengkak, tapi udah nggak sebengkak kemaren. Jadi kemaren gue ke Eka Hospital buat sekedar periksa aja karena badan gue juga nggak enak. Akhirnya di rontgen karena takutnya patah atau retak. Hasilnya? Sehat walafiat cuma ototnya aja bengkak, jadi akhirnya gue di kasih pil buat ngempesin bengkak dan penghilang rasa sakit. You know what? Di Eka gue dipaksa suster sama dokternya buat pake kursi roda jadi yaaaaaaaaaa namanya juga gue, malah di pake buat mainan dan foto-foto. Asik lho hahaha.

And thank God, tadi gue udah masuk sekolah dan kaki gue nggak begitu sakit. Cuma nggak bisa pake sepatu karena kalo keteken sepatunya sakit banget. Jadi sebelah kanan sepatu dan sebelah kiri sendal haha freak. Besok pake sendal aja dua-duanya.

By the way, meskipun nggak bengkak, tapi jadi gini.....................

Bagus ya warna ungu dengan semburat biru. Kata temen gue sih magenta bukan ungu supaya bagusan dikit hahaha -.-

Jadi hari ini gue pulang sekolah seperti biasa kan nebeng Adli naik motor. Nah udah tuh pulang, dia berhenti di warung yang biasanya buat pengasapan sama anak-anak lain juga. Yaudah gue main HP aja kan. Terus udah 10 menit jalan lagi kan pulang. Perjalanan seperti biasa aja, di jalan gue lagi bengong mikirin sesuatu. Nah pas di pertigaan Tekno ini si Adli melan, pas belok kiri gue ngerasa 'Kok ini makin miring ya, miring banget........'

Bener aja, gue, Adli, beserta motornya JATOH.

Yang pertama di pikiran gue adalah: LOH KOK GUE TIDURAN YA.
Yang kedua: ANJRIT BERAT BANGET NIH DI KAKI GUE APAAN, SAKIT LAGI.

Untuk beberapa waktu gue tiduran aja tuh ditengah jalan. Gue ngeliat ada bapak-bapak nyamperin. Terus ada Tera sama Nabiel juga. Adli juga gue liat udah berdiri.

Akhirnya ada bapak-bapak 2 orang mapah gue, pas gue bediri: WOW SAKIT SEKALI YA KAKIKU. Nggak bisa dipake buat napak. Yaudah kedua bapak-bapak tadi mapah gue ke pinggir jalan dan gue disuruh duduk diatas batu. Gue buka kan sepatu gue, dan ternyata ya lumayan bengkak. Dan lagi gue gemeteran. Gue tarik kesimpulan deh: gue keseleo nih, selamat ya Thia.

Bapak-bapak tadi cerita tadi juga ada satpam kepleset disitu. Ternyata emang di belokan itu ada air jadinya licin. Karena gue gemeteran dibeliin minum kan sama Nabiel & Tera. Terus ada temennya Adli juga lewat dua orang gue lupa namanya dan mereka ikut berhenti.

Gue liat tuh celananya Adli agak robek, gue suruh buka kan cuci dulu. Dia bilang takut haha. Ternyata pas dibuka, NGGAK KENAPA-KENAPA. Lecet doang. Bagus ya.

Terus Nabiel cerita, dia kan naik motor duluan. Nah pas dia lagi jalan, di belakang ada bunyi sesuatu yang jatoh tuh. Dia udah feeling Adli. Eh pas nengok bener aja dan akhirnya dia balik. Nah dia ngira gue pingsan karena gue tiduran aja di tengah jalan.

Setelah beberapa saat gue ketawa-ketawa kayak orang bego, sambil meratapi nasib, akhirnya diputuskan lah bahwa gue akan di bawa ke tukang urut di BSD. Karena motornya Adli tinggi, akhirnya gue di bonceng Tera dan si Adli sama Nabiel. Berempat deh tuh ke tukang urut tuna netra. Sampe sana langsung disuruh tiduran kan sama tukang urutnya. Lima belas menit pertama masih tenang ya gue cuma agak menggeliat dan istighfar aja. 45 menit selanjutnya gue udah teriak-teriak, istighfar, teriak lagi, mukulin kasur, mukulin perut, cubit-cubit perut, menggeliat, mendesis, dan akhirnya nangis.

Bagusnya si Tera, Adli, sama Nabiel ketawa-ketawa ya dan malah cerita-cerita tentang berbagai macam kecelakaan.

Setelah satu jam yaudah tuh gue disuruh berdiri sama tukang urutnya, disuruh coba jalan. Sebenernya masih sakit banget ya, cuman gue udah nggak tahan kalo mesti diurut lagi akhirnya gue bilang aja udah mendingan.

Akhirnya, yaudah gue di anter pulang. Pincang naik tangga, dan atas saran si tukang urut dikasih jahe. Abis itu mandi deh. Sekarang ya gue nggak bisa make kaki kiri gue jadi gue loncat-loncat dari tadi pake kaki kanan. Sakit banget, bengak, dan panas. Hmmmmmmmmmm semoga cepet sembuh deh. Besok nggak tau deh masuk apa nggak soalnya mau kerja kelompok grrrrrrrrrrr.

Ini dia kaki gue gede sebelah. Hmph.

Went to Tera's house today, to do Bahasa Indonesia final assignment: to make a short movie! We had fun. Banyakan mainnya daripada ngerjainnya. Padahal tugas ini 2 minggu lagi dikumpulin, tapi skripnya aja belom selesai haha parah ya ckck.

I'm currently reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, again. Never get bored of it. By the way, my arm is getting bigger, its huge! I need to exercise.....................................

Oh I almost forgot, Alvin is already home! YEAAAAAAAY. Still sick though, but he's getting better. :)

A Not-So-Good Day

Today is not really good (oh well, today is NOT good at all), the first news came from Abie. He was almost kidnapped. Well, just read this for further story.

The second came from my little brother, Alvin. He must stay in the hospital because of muntaber (what's muntaber in English, anyway?). I'm so worried. Tadi pagi badannya panas banget dan baru dibawa ke rumah sakit siangnya. Pas tadi gue ke Eka Hospital, mukanya lemeeeeeeeeeeeeees banget. Kayak yang pengen senyum tapi nggak bisa. Ngeliatnya pengen nangis gue, beneran. My dad and mom and maid is staying in the hospital tonight, so it's just me, my little sister, and my other maid in the house now. And I'm pretty scared.

So, to anyone who read this: doain Alvin cepet sembuh yaaaaaaaa. Semoga nggak terjadi kenapa-kenapa yang lebih parah because I miss his cute little laugh. :''(
